Aloaha PDF Split & Merge is a portable utility for anyone who needs to compile a PDF document from several sources, append new pages or images to an existing PDF document, and split PDF files by page number, custom page range, bookmarks or regular expression/keywords.

When merging files you can adjust the order in which the files will be appended to one another. The application also lets you enter passwords for encrypted PDFs, choose the target directory, and set a naming convention for tile. It is also possible to choose image files instead of PDFs. Aloaha will automatically convert those images into PDF.

Single pages can be exported not only as PDF but also as ASCII/text or Images.
